If you choose STANDARD LIABILITY, please note the following:
1. The excess/Bond will be a pre-authorisation on your credit card and will be held for the duration of the rental . If the bond is paid by cash, our depots do not keep cash on the premises and are unable to refund bonds as cash. Any cash bond due for return will be transferred into a bank account nominated by the hirer. Any bank fees associated with this are to borne by the hirer).
2. The average cost to repair a windscreen chip is AU$75.00 to $150, and the average cost to fit a new windscreen is approx AU$480.00.
3. The average cost for tyre replacement is AU$250.00 – $350
4. Damage to the roof or underbody of the vehicle is not covered.
5. You may be liable for extra costs while your vehicle is off the road for accident repairs.
6. Single vehicle accidents are defined as any damage that is done to the vehicle when no other vehicle is involved (for example you hit a tree or any animal and not another vehicle is involved). This also includes the Hirer having and accident with another vehicle, but the Hirer cannot provide Awesome Campers with the other driver’s details and a Police Report stating the time and location of the accident. Examples of single vehicle accidents include running into trees, guideposts or animals,(whether intentionally or not) whilst travelling forward or reversing. If a vehicle is involved in a ‘Single Vehicle accident’ then this will incur a Charge of up to $4000 and the recovery/towing cost to the nearest major town or an Awesome Depot.
Please note: All excess reduction options are null and void if the rental agreement terms and conditions are breached. The excess applies in respect of each claim, not rental.

If you choose LIABILITY C options, Please note the following:
1. It reduces the excess from AUD $3000.00 to $1000.00
2. Awesomes Insurance “Liability C ” – AUD$20.00 per day Bond $1000.00
3. Liability C cover covers you for third Party damage, tyres and front windscreen breakage.(does not include roof top, side and back windows, sunroofs, underbody damage, third party property, theft, fire, break in or vandalism)
4. The excess applies in respect of each claim, not rental.
5. The excess is applicable regardless of who is at fault and must be paid at the time the accident report is completed, not at the completion of the rental.
6. Single Vehicle accidents are defined as any damage that is done to the vehicle when no other vehicle is involved (for example you hit a tree or wild life, and not another vehicle is involved). This also includes the Hirer having and accident with another vehicle, but the Hirer cannot provide Awesome Campers with the other driver’s details and a Police Report stating the time and location of the accident. Examples of single vehicle accidents include running into trees, guideposts or animals,(whether intentionally or not) whilst travelling forward or reversing. If a vehicle is involved in a ‘Single Vehicle accident’ then this will incur a Charge of up to $3000

1. Awesomes Liability C Insurance, bond $500.00
2. Extra Driver Fees
3. 1 x 4 Pack Gas Canisters
4. 1 x Mini Lantern
5. The rate doesn’t include Side Mirrors, Roof top, Underbody, Back windscreen, Sunroof, side windows, one way fees, third party property, theft, fire, break in or vandalism, some physical extras like relocations fees etc.
